Day 14

Set backs during meditation are to be expected, especially in the early stages. One may retire to bed too late the previous night, or the alarm may fail to wake one early. But whatever the excuse, one day of meditation missed is sure to upset one’s routine, and it will serve to highlight how quickly one has become accustom to this new habit.

Do not be surprised if you begin to look forward to your early morning ritual. The joy of anticipation will propel you forward, and help you to make the changes necessary to ensure that you are able to continue regular practice.

Smile quietly to yourself, and look forward to another day.
