Day 23

Coming back to meditation after a few days absence is difficult. One has the sense that the little progress that had been made has been lost. But, as with all growth, the journey is one of constant adjustment, of two steps forward and one step backward.

Business trips and holidays serve to break one’s routine. Enjoyment is derived from such a change in scenery. But, ultimately, one feels a sense of loss when the morning ritual of meditation is not retained.

Try to incorporate your meditation into every day, even if only for a few minutes. Consistency is more important than the length of practice. And, whilst you are apt to doubt its benefit from time to time, know that your efforts are forging an ever stronger bond with your higher self, the true master of your life and destiny.
